You beat me to the 'thank you'! I was in there right at the beginning of your first show and, as usual, everyone was having a wonderful time! I came right after one of the birds feathers was injured and I hope he/she is OK. I did meet your son briefly to give him your check. Sorry I didn't get a chance to see you! Thanks again for a wonderful time--the children always love hearing about and meeting the animals!

I'm not sure I'll be running the event next year, but I'm sure you will either hear from me or the new chairperson once the event gets scheduled.

I wanted to drop you a note and thank you for having Brownie Troop 5008 to your rescue center. All the girls had a wonderful time and were still talking about it at our meeting the following week. The work you are doing with needy animals is commendable. They are lucky to have you on their side.

THANK YOU VALERIE. I heard WONDERFUL things about yesterday. Each girl was giddy with excitement about something different than the next girl. Some of the girls thought the best part was seeing your HORSE enter the HOUSE. They said it was like Pippi Longstocking !!! Wow. That must have been fun for them. Other girls just loved riding. Some girls loved your birds.

The girls remembered you from a few years back when you did a "Brownie" presentation at my house for the same group. They were "chomping at the bit" so to speak to see you and your animals again. Thanks for making it a wonderful day and a wonderful learning experience.

You have such a talent for teaching and adjusting your instruction for your audience. The little ones REALLY loved it. I know because I am editing my pictures right now, and I see only joy and happiness on their faces. I love to see little ones with animals as they seem to have such a great connection. I learn something new each time that I see you. Today, I learned about the shedding of the layered pieces of the turtle's shell. So cool..

"I think my kids love coming - riding or not.
If you must know - I kind of think of you as their surrogate grandma - someone who they can go and do fun things with and see the world from a different perspective. Now that my mom is gone, I really like that they have the opportunity to go someplace where they feel comfortable to run about and make a mess in the kitchen. Please keep getting them on Wednesdays until you can't anymore. The more you can teach them about the world outside the windows and the rest of god's creatures the more they will become better citizens of this world. Understanding what it takes to be a human and respect other living things is a lesson more kids should learn."

Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful learning experience for our Keystone Kids last Saturday. The boys had a great time and were very excited to report to their parents about all they had done – especially the horse ride!



I hope that we can partner with you again for other groups that we have here at the Center for the Blind.

I think it is one of the best programs for our students because everyone can touch and hear the animals even if the cannot see them.Everyone enjoyed the program,staff too! Have a great year.
